Calculates the second harmonic generation (SHG) coefficient and the linear response function of a [(Si)[sub 5]/(Ge)[sub 5]] superlattice (SLS) on an alloy substrate. Determination of the lattice spacings of each layer; Comparison with the SHG coefficient in the silicon(001) substrate; Anisotropy of the second order response in SLS.
