ABSTRACT
Identifies the intrinsic paramagnetic lead[sup +3] defect centers in lead zirconate titanate ceramics. Use of electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy; Optical generation of the charged traps through ultraviolet illumination; Localization of the defect unpaired electron of the defect on the lead nucleus.
