ABSTRACT
The article reports that International Automotive Components Group BV (IAC) has purchased key pieces of insolvent German supplier Stankiewicz GmbH, and thus expanded its global automotive carpets and acoustic parts business. IAC Chairman Wilbur L. Ross said that the acquisition strengthens operational capability and technical know-how of IAC in those areas, making it a leader globally, as it has been in North America.
