ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of the financial services industry in welcoming the decision of British Financial Services Authority (FSA) to speed up consultation on the Professional Standards Board (PSB) in 2009 in Great Britain. It states that PSB will receive higher standards in qualifications and ethics. According to the retail distribution review consultation paper, the final implementation for the standards will take place in 2012.
