ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase of Emulex Corp.'s tender offer by Broadcom Corp. in the U.S. in 2009. Broadcom revealed that it has increased its bid for all the outstanding shares to $11 per share in cash of the common stock of Emulex, totaling to about 912 million dollars of total equity value. Broadcom announced a 9.25 dollars per share for Emulex's cash offer, valued at about 764 million dollars.
