The absorption spectra of BrNCO and INCO in the region 160–400 nm are continuous in nature, and photolysis of these molecules with pulsed excimer lasers leads to dissociation. Photolysis of BrNCO and INCO at 308 and 351 nm, respectively, produces vibrationally cold ground state NCO...

Reports that pure rotational spectra of the MgOH and MgOD radicals have been recorded in the v[sub 2] bending vibration of their X[sup 2]Sigma[sup +] ground electronic states using direct absorption spectroscopy. Use of a linear model for the Hamiltonian in analysis of the data.

We report the observation and assignment of the ν2 fundamental vibration in the HOCO and DOCO radicals. The radical was made by the photolysis of acetic acid or acetic acid-d at 193 nm in a flow system. The observed spectra indicate that the excited vibrational level is perturbed in both HOCO...

Reactions of 2- and 3-nitroanilines (2- and 3-NA) with e-aq, H-atoms and one-electron reductants have been studied using pulse radiolysis in aqueous solutions. Reactions of e-aq were found to be quite fast with both 2-NA and 3-NA resulting in their corresponding semi-reduced species which are...
