ABSTRACT
Measures the energy relaxation times of the fundamental stretching modes in the electronic ground states of OH[sup -], OD[sup -], SH[sup -] and TeH[sup -] in a variety of alkali halides by incoherent laser saturation. Vibrational lifetimes magnitudes compared to those of other heteronuclear diatomics diluted in crystals.
