ABSTRACT
Describes a simple and inexpensive circuit to facilitate the direct measurement of capture cross section, when synchronized with a deep level transient spectroscopy system. Connection and disconnection of the capacitance meter from the apparatus with the help of reed relay switches; Application of sharp bias pulses with no observable distortion.

The cross section for the process e[sup +]e[sup –] → K[sup 0][sub L]K[sup 0][sub S] is measured by using approximately 1000 events recorded by the CMD-2 detector at the VEPP-2M collider in the energy range from 1.05 to 1.38 GeV.
