ABSTRACT
Focuses on the development of a simple current mode preamplifier for the microchannel plate (MCP) with the anode biased to high voltage. Use of a capacitor to block direct current (dc) high voltage; Measurement of the MCP current through the capacitor; Compensation of the distortion caused by the capacitor; Measurement of any length of signals without distortion.
