Presents the design and operation of a simple inline optical electron polarimeter. Exchange excitation of ground state neon atoms; Determination of electron polarization; Characterization of longitudinally and transversely polarized beams in a nondestructive fashion; Degree of circular polarization of the subsequent fluorescence.
