ABSTRACT
The article discusses the initiatives taken by the hotel industry to become greenwashing and eco friendly. Jessica Webb, a communications associate with Rainforest Alliance, states that hotel industry consider greenwash as a way to reach new markets and to avoid more stringent regulations on environment. It is reported that while Seychelles based Frégate Island resort is trying to restore near-extinct magpie-robin, Nevis based Nisbet Plantation Beach Club is planting an artificial reef.
