BorgWarner to supply Fiat with new dual-clutch tech

The article reports on the plan of automotive parts supplier BorgWarner to supply its DualTronic transmission control system for Fiat Powertrain Technologies' (FPT) first dry dual-clutch transmission. The said transmission, which is due for launch in late 2009, will be first offered on the Alfa Romeo Mito. One of the features of the DualTronic transmission control system is the high pressure electro-hydraulic solenoids.
