ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views regarding the position of Russian nationalist in the Georgian conflict. The author argues that the conflict revealed the tendency of the U.S. to compare its interests with universal values. He uses the experience of Russian with the conflict to indicate that there are no universal values as developed in Western Europe and North America and that Russia does not represent as a European country but the representative of Eurosian civilization.
