The article focuses on the move of Towergate Financial Services (TFS) to scale back the building of a national network of independent financial advisors (IFAs) in Great Britain. It states that TFS, which has been folded into a division of Towergate Partnership Ltd. (TPL), must change its approach due to tough market conditions. According to a TPL spokesman, the business models they had are not appropriate for the current climate they are in.
