Describes the installation of an on-line Lamb shift spin-filter polarimeter in the Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory atomic beam polarized ion source. Introduction of cesium vapor into a downstream charge-exchange canal; Design of the polarimeter to monitor the polarization of metastable H or D atoms.
