ABSTRACT
The article presents information about chronic kidney disease (CKD) and its classification. An index of kidney function, glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is used for the classification of CKD stages. For the diagnosis of various stages of CKD, each stage is represented by eGFR, such as 15, 30, 60 and 90 mL/min/1.73 m².
