The article reports that the election for ABTA Ltd. chairman has raised the issue of whether the association should represent the views of non-retail travel companies or not. Companies are allowed to use the ABTA partner logo and access discounted convention rates under the industry partner scheme. The Web site of ABTA also states that partners can be involved in lobbying.
