ABSTRACT
Examines the picosecond (ps) photoresponse signals from epitaxial YBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7-thickness] thin films using five ps and 820 nanometer laser pulses. Appearance of slow component in signal at higher bias currents; Observation of fast transients of 20 ps wide with film thickness of 200 nanometer; Link of fast response to bolometric mechanism.
