Examines the polarized photoluminescence (PL) and cathodoluminescence of ordered nonlinear optical material ZnGeP[sub 2] using the Bridgman method. Appearance of PL peaks on broad band top; Shift of dominant peak to higher energy position; Theoretical energy band diagram of pseudodirect band-gap material.
