ABSTRACT
Examines the improvement of the photorefractive response of as-grown barium titanate crystals by gamma irradiation from a Co[sup 60] source. Cause of the increase in the sample effective trap density and conductivity; Contributions of electrons and holes to photorefractivity; Difficulty in determining the exact physical effects of irradiation on crystals.
