ABSTRACT
Describes the design of a type of time resolved soft x-ray pinhole camera for the measurement of the size of pinched electron beam of submillimeter size in the strong x-ray background. Design of the x-ray camera; Conversion of the x-ray into an optical image; Estimation of the hard x-ray background; Observation of an x-ray image of a flash x-ray source.
