Examines the effects of body fluid removal on the phonatory effort and voice quality of an individual. Increase in phonation threshold pressure with fluid removal; Correlation of heart rate, systolic blood pressure and/or diastolic blood pressure with phonation threshold pressure or fluid volume reduction; Why fluid reduction affects voice quality.
