ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of BroadLogic Inc. to launch its new chip TeraQAM BL85000 which is designed to allow quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) manufacturers use QAM channels per port while dropping system costs. BroadLogic emphasizes that its new chip has the ability to increase QAM density to 16 channels per port, and reduce its power consumption. The company announces that the availability of the chip will be in the fourth quarter of the year.
