ABSTRACT
The article presents the forecast modelling of the Business Monitor International Ltd. (BMI) for the economic status of tourism in Brazil in 2009. It focuses on the process of generating the BMI's industry forecasts using time-series modelling and vector autoregressions. It also mentions other approaches such as the univariate modelling and autoregressive moving average model (ARMA).
