ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights on how the British Veterinary Association (BVA) functions in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to deal with the devolved administrations. It notes that the BVA colleagues have established Veterinary Northern Ireland (VETNI) that will represent several veterinary organizations in Northern Ireland. It also notes that the elements of the BVA in Scotland are gathered under the Scottish Branch, while the BVA divisions in Wales are operating in isolation.
