The article presents the author's views on global demands in military and aerospace markets of the electronic industry. The author argues that failure to globalise a business is risky if an electronic manufacturer serve a defence contractor. The author says that suppliers to the defence sector benefit from the fact that defence contracts may span long periods and their cycle is geo-political more than economic.
