ABSTRACT
Obtains the electronic absorption spectra of the electronic transitions of carbon in neon matrices. Measurement of the spectra after mass-selected deposition of the anions with excess of neon; Basis of assignments on mass selection, spectroscopic evidence, photobleaching behavior and ab initio calculations.
