Discusses the effectiveness of femtosecond Fourier-tranform position-sensitive Kerr lens spectroscopy for obtaining the isotropic and anisotropic components of the low-frequency, intermolecular Raman spectra of liquids. Isotropic and anisotropic features compared for various liquid chemicals; Characterization of the intermolecular motions.
