The article presents a research report involving the chemistry of Iminofurans. It relates that the introduction of a halogen atom which include chlorine or bromine does not change the reaction direction with 4-position of the furan ring. Moreover, there has been no published data concerning the...

Conditions were found where in 6-halo-4-quinolines (halogen = iodine, bromine, or chlorine) the halogen atoms were replaced in succession by similar or different aryl groups in cross-coupling reactions with arylboric acids catalyzed by palladium and nickel complexes. Basing on successive Suzuki...

A small amount of H atoms are observed as products of the reaction of Cl atoms generated by photodissociating Cl2 at 351 nm in the presence of H2. A much larger H atom concentration is detected when a mixture of H2 and CCl4 is photodissociated at 193 nm with an average kinetic energy of...

Integral cross sections for the reaction of C+ with hydrogen have been determined as a function of translational and rotational energy. Measurements were made with a guided beam apparatus, using a temperature variable scattering cell or alternatively a nozzle beam and different ortho–para...

Chlorination and bromination of 2,3-dihydro-1 H-imidazo[4,5- b]pyridin-2-one and its N-methyl-substituted derivatives in acetic acid at 90–95°C leads to formation of the corresponding 5,6-dichloro(dibromo)-2,3-dihydro-1 H-imidazo[4,5- b]pyridin-2-ones. Iodination of the same substrates...

Oxygen, hydrogen, and chlorine atoms react with vibrationally excited HCN to produce CN and OH, H2, or HCl, respectively. The experiments presented here use direct vibrational overtone excitation to prepare states of HCN having four quanta of C–H stretching excitation [(004) state] or...
