ABSTRACT
The article reports on the effort of Canadian psychotherapist Mary-Jo Land to train teachers on how to assist their students in sharing and healing their trauma in Kabul, Afghanistan. Land, who has been working with nongovernmental organization Help the Afghan Children, has used an innovative story-based curriculum, called the Journey of Peace, for the initiative. The psychotherapist has considered her work as a privilege because she helps a lot of teachers who faced the hardship in life. Information on the objectives and activities included in the curriculum is also discussed.
