ABSTRACT
Examines the magnetophotoluminescence in monolayer-wide indium arsenide (InAs) quantum wells with gallium arsenide barriers. Evidence for reduced mass of excitons associated with InAs quantum wells; Reduction in InAs heavy-hole mass caused by heavy and light-hole subband mixing; Shift in exciton transition energy in the photoluminescence spectra.
