Examines the second-harmonic generation in bulk and waveguided lithium tantalate crystals with domain inversion induced by electron beam scanning. Interpretation of phase-matching bandwidth for two millimeter long poled region; Discussion on duty-cycle variations and incomplete domain reversal; Production of normalized conversion efficiency.
