Examines changes in the transmission of porous silicon layers induced by ultrashort laser pulses using picosecond pump and probe measurements. Relaxation time of the excitation-induced transmission changes; Observation of bleaching bands by time-resolved differential transmission spectra; Characterization of the measured nonlinearity.
