Proposes a modulated-layer-thickness multiquantum-barrier (MQB) structure or chirped MQB. Potential increase of the chirped MQB against overflowing electrons; Optimum well thickness width; Effectiveness of the structure under the layer thickness fluctuations caused by step bunching.
