Examines second-harmonic generation and optical rectification coefficients using intersubband transitions in a biased p-type semiconductor quantum well. Use of the parabolic band and heavy hole/light-hole valence band mixing model; Basis for the theoretical results; Comparison between the valence band mixing and parabolic band models.
