ABSTRACT
The article reports that Tarun Gogoi, chief minister of Assam, India, has reviewed the progress of the Gas Cracker petrochemical plant project being implemented by Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymers Ltd. (BCPL) at Lepetkata in Dibrugarh, Assam, on December 14, 2008. According to Gogoi, the project would be completed on schedule and assured the state government's full support for its implementation. An overview of the project's progress is offered. A list of the components of the plant is presented.
