ABSTRACT
The article discusses troubleshooting centrifugal pumps. It is noted that majority of problems posted by centrifugal pumps are caused by faulty conditions on the suction side of the pump. It is asserted that of there is not enough pressure, there is a possibility that speed is low or there is air in water. For noisy pumps, it is mentioned that there could be mechanical defects.
