ABSTRACT
The article presents information on how casting directors cast family dramas. Elizabeth Boykewich, executive director of casting, ABC Family, says that she will never cast a 30-year-old as a high school student. Barbara Stordahl of Santa Monica says that she always looks for something special in actors before casting. Lisa Mae Fincannon of Wilmington says that she will never cast fully on looks but try hard to get the right human being with the right soul to breathe life into the character.
