The article presents information related to the problem of piracy across the coast of Somalia. According to Lieutenant Nate Christensen, deputy spokesman for the U.S. Fifth Fleet, the Navy is fiercely checking the area by deploying three dozen ships. The Coast Guard is operating its 387-foot high-endurance cutter Boutwell to combat piracy. U.S. Republican Elijah Cummings stated that in order to end this problem, economic opportunity and a rule of law need to be established.
