ABSTRACT
The article presents information related to the Tier II/Small Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (STUAS) vehicles designed for the U.S. Marine Corps and Navy. The Boeing/InsituScanEagle intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) UAS is supposed to be replaced by STUAS. Major Thomas Heffern said that the Tier II/STUAS will be used by the Marine Corps for target acquisition, communications relay and ISR.
