ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the study that diagnosed early pregnancy in inseminated cows based on the regression rate of corpora lutea (CLcs), by which non-pregnancy can be determined on day 20 after artificial insemination. It notes that the study involved fourteen Japanese black cows which were inseminated artificially and were examined using ultrasonography. Details on the regression rate of CLcs and progesterone concentration between cows diagnosed as pregnant and non-pregnant are also offered.
