Investigates neodymium fluorescence excitation and emission spectra in neodymium:magnesium oxide:lithium niobate oxide lasers. Identification of sites responsible for two infrared laser lines; Excitation of the identified site; Necessity of pumping each laser line with light of different wavelengths.
