ABSTRACT
Fabricates a textured composite Bi[sub 2]Sr[sub 2]Ca[sub 1]Cu[sub 2]O[sub 8+a] (2212) conductors by composite reaction texturing that uses whiskers or fibers. Alignment of the superconducting grains and morphology control; Development of the microstructures; Variation of the whisker thickness.
