Examines the use of Rydberg atom technique to measures the electric fields in 13.56 megahertz helium discharges. Effects of laser excitation on helium singlet Rydberg states; Observation on the Stark broadening of Rydberg states in the presence of an electric field; Degree of spatial and temporal resolutions of the parallel-plate discharges.
