ABSTRACT
Describes the transmission of plane sound waves through elastic porous layers by equivalent multiport circuits. Relation of the ports on each face of the layer to the normal and tangential strains and velocities; Antireciprocal coupling between normal and tangential conjugate variables; Role of angle of incidence changes in the coupling.
