ABSTRACT
Examines the optical absorption of semi-insulating gallium arsenide (GaAs) using magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectrum. Evidence on a temperature-independent line within the spectrum; Analysis on the charge state of electroluminescence in electron-irradiated GaAs; Comparison between MCD spectra and electron paramagnetic resonance of the optical absorption yield.
