ABSTRACT
Examines the room temperature blue lasing of ZnS[sub x]Se[sub 1-x] alloys grown by seeded physical vapor-phase transport technique. Use of excitation photon energy tuned close to the band gap; Resolution of longitudinal lasing modes; Implication for the use of the alloys as an alternative to zinc selenide in blue light-emitting device fabrications.
