ABSTRACT
The article discusses the impact of elections in India and Indonesia on their stock markets. It is stated that the election of Congress Party-led coalition in India led to an improvement in the stock exchange and emergence of the bull market. Moreover, it is believed that the re-election of Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will facilitate the country's growth rate further with higher consumer spending and private investment.
