ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the emerging automobile manufacturers such as Henrik Fisker, who are aiming to make new kinds of cars to make the industry flourish again. Fisker, chief executive officer (CEO) of Fisker Automotive, will begin production of the plug-in hybrid sports sedan Fisker Karma in November 2009 and has already presold 1300 models so far. Other companies including Tesla Motors Inc., Carbon Motors Corp. and Aptera Motors Inc. are also ready with their environment-friendly cars.
