Proposes an integrated all-optical switch based on a high quality factor nonlinear cylindrical microcavity resonator. Ability of the switch to allow coupling light in and out to a microresonator; Transmission of an integrated optical waveguide; Relationship of the optical waveguides to the resonances of the cylindrical microcavity.
